Financial Administrator

12 month contract (with possibility of extension)

A not-for-profit company is moving their administrative function to Haddenham, Bucks and requires a financial administrator. The company is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic self-starter to support the company with a wide range of financial and administrative tasks.

Reporting to the FD, some accountancy experience is desirable as is previous experience of working with Sage Line 50. The right candidate must be able to work autonomously as the team is very small and the ability to work unsupervised is essential.

Architectural Technician

A growing Buckinghamshire firm specialising in project management and architectural design is seeking an Architectural Technician to join their busy team.

Our portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects, particularly from the residential, educational and community sectors. The role of architectural technician is to develop designs and specifications, often to tight deadlines. The role includes liaising with other team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to co-ordinate design details and resolve technical issues, so strong interpersonal skills will be required.

The successful candidate will have a university degree or equivalent qualification in the field of architecture, engineering or building surveying, and a minimum of 3 years direct work experience in a building design capacity, including aspects of planning and specification. A good working knowledge of current construction techniques, statutory requirements, and non-statutory design guidance is essential, in addition to demonstrated experience in CAD.

The experience of working both independently and in a team is important, as is the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a time-constrained environment.

Some local / regional travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients or contractors, and candidates will need to have a full driving licence. Depending upon the nature of the projects, there may be a requirement for a DBS check to be carried out.

This is a full-time role but a working pattern over 4 days per week would be considered.
