Caring Support at Home in Haddenham need an additional person to help them with their growing business.
You will be a confident administrator with an eye for detail, experienced in MS Word and Excel and a good communicator with people of all types. You will drive and live in or within 6 miles of Haddenham. Ideally you will have some caring experience either in a professional capacity or with a family member, but if you have a caring nature, and working in this sort of environment appeals, then do get in touch with us anyway.
You will turn time sheets into pay sheets using our bespoke Excel package, produce documentation relating to care packages, communicate with carers and clients, organise rotas and meetings and keep our records in order. Ideally you will also be happy to carry out occasional caring visits (essential if you need full time hours) and training is available.

A Haddenham-based Charitable Trust is looking for a part-time administrator to coordinate and promote a programme of mainly small-scale events (relating to gardening and arts & crafts) in Haddenham. Initially the position is for 8 hours per week, spread over at least 2 days per week, and for a period of 12 months.
You would be working mainly from home, but would also need to be on-site a few (approx. 10) days per year to oversee the running of events, under the overall supervision of a Trustee.
Duties will include organising publicity; taking bookings and handling payments; overseeing the organisation and running of events; developing our website; coordinating the development of the 2015 programme; and generally liaising with the team and the Trust.

PCMS is a project management and architectural design firm working on a varied mix of public sector and residential projects. A new vacancy has arisen within our team for an Architectural Technician/Part II Architect.
The role of Architectural Technician/Part II Architect is to support projects by developing designs and specifications according to strict deadlines and to meet a budget. The role includes liaising with other team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to co-ordinate design details and resolve technical issues.
The successful candidate will have a university degree or equivalent qualification in the field of architecture, engineering or building surveying, and a minimum of 3 years direct work experience in an architectural technician capacity, including all aspects of building design and specification. A good working knowledge of current construction techniques, statutory requirements (Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, CDM Regulations, etc) and non-statutory design guidance is essential, in addition to demonstrated experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
The experience of working both independently and in a team is important. The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a time-constrained environment is crucial, as are strong interpersonal skills.
Some local / regional travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients or contractors, and candidates will need to have a full driving licence. Depending upon the nature of the projects, there may be a requirement for a CRB check to be carried out.
This is a full-time role but a working pattern over 4 days per week would be considered.
