PCMS Design is a project management and architectural design firm working on a varied mix of public sector and residential projects. A new vacancy has arisen within our team for an Architect, Building Surveyor or Architectural Technician.

The primary aim is to support projects by developing designs and specifications according to strict deadlines and to meet a budget. The role includes liaising with other team members and third–party contractors or consultants in order to co–ordinate design details and resolve technical issues.

The successful candidate will have a university degree or equivalent qualification in the field of architecture, engineering or building surveying, and a minimum of 3 years direct work experience in a building design capacity, including aspects of planning and specification. A good working knowledge of current construction techniques, statutory requirements (Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, CDM Regulations, etc) and non–statutory design guidance is essential, in addition to demonstrated experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD).

I'm a working mum living in Chearsley, looking for a locally–based person to keep the domestic front running smoothly whilst I am working.

My children (teenagers) are sensible and fairly self sufficient, but they do need some oversight/supervision, organisation, and driving them to appointments and activities etc, and I also need help keeping on top of their laundry, cooking meals, keeping the kitchen clean and the house tidy.

Hours will be primarily afternoon, but occasionally I may need early morning help but this will only be in during the school term from September onwards.

Kathryn Smith, who organises the 'Monkey Clothes' sales of children's clothes in Haddenham is looking for help. She needs someone who fancies a couple of days work per month and can be flexible.

This would be ideally suited to a student.
The work will involve some heavy lifting and ability to add up!
Must be friendly and able to cope with a busy environment on sale day.
