Recently, in our Share & Chat forum, a local resident asked why this year's Council Tax Bill showed an 84.3% increase in payments towards Haddenham Parish Council.
The Precept (i.e., an order issued by one local authority to another, specifying the rate of tax to be charged on its behalf) set by Haddenham Parish Council (HPC) has increased significantly over the past two years, and residents will, quite naturally, want to understand why this is the case, and how the additional money is being spent.
