Then I can safely quarantine (although I have actually had covid in April, and a test yesterday confirmed I still have a high level of antibodies – but of course I will conform to the local rules). The government advice is that you can leave your quarantine accommodation for compassionate reasons to visit a seriously ill family member.
I've tried to work out if Nurses Cottage is available without success but will text Michelle. On the sites I found it on, it looked booked out...
Wychert Cottage is booked out for all September and October.
I looked at The Farrow at Nettlebed Farm but they are more or less booked out for the dates I need. I have contacted Jessica (email and text) at Executive Lettings to see if she has availability – fingers crossed she may be able to accommodate me for such a long period. I thought I would follow up with you as my situation is now a bit desperate.
I really hope you can help! I must see my dad, his cancer is untreatable and he is now receiving palliative care. Stupidly I didn't think how difficult it might be to secure accommodation for over a month, and to be honest, booking the flights and getting to the UK was my top priority.
