The Village Society is hosting a family walk this morning, Saturday, 11th September – an easy, level and virtually stile-free stroll in the beautiful Chilterns.
The walk will start at the Full Moon Pub, located Hawridge & Cholesbury at 10.00am where there is parking, coffee and loos. The post code is: HP5 2UH and it's about a 35 minute drive from Haddenham.
The walk will include plenty to see and learn about including an Iron Age Hill Fort and boundary, a fascinating old Church with grave to a Marine who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar, a walk along Drovers' Way and more.
The total easy walking distance is about 5 miles.
This will conclude with at the Full Moon., if you so choose.
Free – other than refreshments and the optional luncheon.
