Here is the latest advice from Dr Howcutt, Haddenham Medical Centre

The way in which the NHS is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly developing and the Haddenham team are working hard to keep up to date with the latest NHS guidance. We also need to start each day with a careful review of our staffing to ensure that we can continue to keep meeting everyone's healthcare needs in the best way possible. The building will remain closed until 8.30am each morning to enable us to do this essential planning.

The NHS has recommended that we reduce the number of people coming in and out of the practice for the safety of our patients and staff. To do this, we will close the entrance doors to the surgery at 5pm. We are communicating more with patients by text, having more phone calls, sending most prescriptions electronically to pharmacies and are starting to use video consultations where we can.

Please do not come into the practice unless you have an appointment and especially not if you have a high temperature or a new, continuous cough.

Thank you for your patience and for the kind messages of support we have received from patients.

Please continue to wash your hands with soap and warm water, look after the elderly and vulnerable in our community and be kind to each other.
