Local resident Mary Miller has completed a major personal challenge, in aid of charity.
An activity not for the faint-hearted, Mary abseiled from the tower of St Mary Magdalen church, Oxford, on Saturday 8th March, to raise money for Christian Aid.
Mary would like to thank all those who offered their support and good wishes. "I found it difficult at the top and was quite nervous (but not as bad as being at the top of a red ski run!). Once I got going it was enjoyable and the views over Oxford were excellent"

Mary raised approximately £600 – our warmest congratulations to her!
