Verity Stocker, visitor centre manager at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Aston Road, HP17 8AF, writes:

"Starting soon, we will be open again on a limited basis to ensure we follow all of the government safety guidelines. All entrances will be ticketed (please purchase online as sadly no telephone orders can be taken at this time) and we will be monitoring the flow of the public constantly.

"We've missed the public and our regular members and are very excited to see you all again soon! From July 3 we'll be opening on Fridays and Saturdays only (10.00am-12.30pm and 1.30-4pm each day, and with last admissions at 11.30am and 3pm). We look forward to welcoming you socially-distanced, through a mask, face shield, Perspex screen and a healthy layer of antibacterial skin gel. Now doesn't that sound welcoming!"

"To book tickets please see here

"Members still get free entry, however, you will need to use the booking system in order to secure a slot. Please bring your ticket and proof of membership – for example your membership card. If you don't have a card, please email mail@tiggywinkles.org to get one organised."

There also information on the website about how disabled visitors can get a free ticket for their carer on production of suitable evidence.
