New classrooms at Haddenham St Mary's School

Building work is set to commence in the February half term at Haddenham St Mary's School. Bucks County Council is investing over one million pounds in four 'state of the art' classrooms to accommodate the rising number of pupils in Haddenham.

The building project will be used as a learning opportunity for the children; the builders will lead assemblies with the children and the site will have viewing panels and display walls for the children to draw on. The children will also have supervised visits to the site during the build.

The design of the classrooms is in keeping with the school's specialism in outdoor learning with glass bi-fold doors running the length of the classrooms. The school is one of only one hundred schools in the country to have achieved the gold 'Learning Outside the Classroom' mark.

The classrooms will be equipped with the most up-to-date and innovative teaching resources. The design of the new classrooms has been carefully thought out to enhance light and colour throughout.

Staff, governors, pupils and parents are extremely excited about the project and can't wait for it to start.
