'Any Questions' is a topical discussion programme on BBC Radio 4 in which a panel of personalities from the worlds of politics, media and elsewhere are posed questions by the audience. It is chaired by political journalist, Chris Mason.
'Any Questions?' was first broadcast on 12th October 1948, making it the longest-running live discussion programme in the UK.
At the invitation of Haddenham Village Society, the programme is paying a return visit to the village on Friday, 20th August, with the live broadcast commencing at 8.00pm.
The Village Society last hosted 'Any Questions' in December 2012, when the chairman was Jonathan Dimbleby and the panelists were the Labour MP Frank Field, then leader of the Green Party Natalie Bennett, Daily Mail columnist and former editor of the Daily Telegraph, Max Hastings, and the Conservative MP and then Minister for International Development, Alan Duncan. We do not yet know who will be on the panel this time round, but up to 100 members of the public will be welcome to join the audience and submit questions – but entry is by ticket only.
