Haddenham Youth Football Club (HYFC) is the most popular sports club in our beautiful Buckinghamshire village.
Our mission is to nurture a love of the game, team spirit and sense of belonging to an inclusive, family friendly Club.
Established in 1995, we currently have around 400 registered players across 22 sides.
We use two main sets of pitches – Woodways for our younger teams and the Airfield for our upper age ranges – as well as Cuddington Playing Fields for our U17, U18 and Ladies teams. Some training sessions take place on the MUGA at the Junior School.
We take players from Year Reception all the way through to U18 including four dedicated Girls teams as well as a Ladies side and Walking football for over 45s.
Most training sessions take place on Saturday mornings with league matches on Sundays.
With a growing community, we aim to attract more players, add more teams, enhance our coaching offer, improve our playing facilities and bag more wins, big or small.
If you are interested in playing, coaching or supporting the Club, say hello@hyfc.club
TCC2, a children's choir directed by Duncan Aspden, was founded in November 2010 under the umbrella of the highly regarded Thame Chamber Choir. It offers a special opportunity for children aged between 8 and 14 to learn to sing and enjoy a wide range of music: the best of modern, classical and jazz. The choir performs locally several times a year, on their own as well as with professional and amateur adult musicians. It rehearses from 4.30-5.45pm on Sunday afternoons in term time, at John Hampden School (Park Street, Thame, Oxon, OX9 3HU) and new members are always welcome. Members come from a wide geographical area including Haddenham, so transport to rehearsals can often be shared. Local contact is Ann Millar:
