Doug on Amazon item delivered to mystery doorstep
10th July 2025 @ 8:06pm

Hi,
Amazon have delivered our parcel to an unknown doorstep. We've a photograph of it sitting on a step at the side of a white upvc front door – but sadly, not ours....
If you've received an unexpected small boxed Amazon parcel (should be addressed 23 Dollicott), can you please let me know and I can pop around to collect it, thanks...
Sadly, this site doesn't seem to allow pasting an image, so can't show the photo.
Thanks, Doug

I've just read that there's a shortage of Padel Courts in the UK.
How about it Haddenham?

Martin Shillitto on Lost Burmese Cat
25th April 2025 @ 10:10am

Rafa is a very distinctive pale blonde Burmese cat who looks like a miniature baby lion. He was transported to the Pilots Place area of Haddenham on Tuesday 22nd April at around 6.50pm-the night it poured down with rain. He has a very distinctive voice unlike most cats (almost grating!) and is usually very confident. He must be starving so hopefully, once he gets over the shock of being in an area he doesn't know, he will make a nuisance of himself. If you spot him or have any information at all please contact Martin on 07961307353

Tanya on Concerned about a Cat
24th April 2025 @ 6:26pm

Good Morning, we moved to Haddenham in January. We are in Churchway opposite the post office, this morning a lovely cat( Smokey grey with white socks) had made its way into our kitchen. 😳
Unfortunately my cats got freaked out and someone was hurt. I've checked all my cats but I can't find anything on my cats. So I am assuming it's the one that got in.
I am concerned that there is a pussy cat out there that needs attention.
Please reach out if you have any info, would be nice to know it's ok.

Doug Williams on Handyman required for building shed base (concrete slabs) and erecting a new timber shed
30th March 2025 @ 10:49am

Hi,
We're new to the area (Dollicott) and are looking for someone local (and good) to do various handyman type jobs.
Initially we need an area clearing, an old greenhouse removing and the laying a concrete slabbed base to suit a new 8' x 10' timber shed. (The base to be around 8' x 13'). Also the new shed will require assembling once delivered.
Is there someone suitable locally available to do this sort of work for us and there will be the possibility of more work to follow...
Thanks,

Jan on House cleaner

Can anyone recommend a cleaner once a week in or around Haddenham
