Announcement from the Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust:
One of the toughest things for the festivals team about having to cancel them is knowing we are not able to raise funds for local good causes. We know that so many, particularly the smaller organisations, who don't have the resources to undertake the complex application process for national grants, rely on us to keep their ventures viable.
Many of you have kindly messaged and commented since our announcement about Summerfest earlier this week, asking if there is a way to contribute and make a much-needed donation to our funds to ensure we can continue giving these essential grants. I am pleased to say we now have a way for you to do so.
We're not currently gift-aid registered (we're working on it!) so the simplest mechanism for now was to put a 'Donate' button on our website (just scroll to the bottom of the home page).
The funds from this will come directly to the Festivals Trust and the full amount will go towards local good causes, charities and organisations in and around Haddenham (with none of the big fees being taken by a third party facilitator as some donation platforms have).
We are hugely grateful for your ongoing support and can't wait until we can see you all again at a festival 🍻
In the meantime, any donation will be very gratefully received and mean we can continue to support those in need at these toughest of times.
