The team at Haddenham Medical Centre have supported the GP-led COVID vaccination centre at Stoke Mandeville Stadium since its start.
We are pleased to announce that our GP-led clinic is offering extra clinics for COVID vaccines on Xmas Eve, Monday 27th December, Tuesday 28th December and New Years Eve.
There are appointments available for first and second doses for 16 years and over as well as boosters. To have a booster vaccine, you need to be 18 years of age or over and it must have been at least 3 months since your second dose.
We have sent out hundreds of invitations yesterday by text inviting patients to book an appointment but if you have not received this, you can book an appointment by sending an email to a confidential secure email address at sms.vaccinations@nhs.net including your full name, date of birth, NHS Number and mobile telephone number.
Please don't call us to book an appointment – we are really busy on the phones dealing with patients with urgent problems.
If these appointments are not convenient or available, you can also book booster appointments by phoning 119 or through the official NHS website.
Our local pharmacy, JMW Vicary, is also providing COVID vaccines with appointments available to book through these systems.
Our advice is again to get boosted when you can, as soon as you can, wherever you can!
