President of the Carwithen Music Festival, and well known TV/Film composer, Debbie Wiseman OBE, visited St Mary's Church during the week to be interviewed for a feature on ITV Meridian.

Debbie talked to ITV correspondent Juliette Fletcher about her new Piano album release and the upcoming Carwithen Music Festival (10th-13th July) and also played some of her film music from the BBC production "Wolf Hall" on the church piano. This will be the final concert of the Festival, when Debbie, the original musicians from the TV Score and the Bafta decorated actor Anton Lesser, will intertwine the music from the BBC series alongside readings from Hilary Mantel's novels.

The Festival features world class British Musicians from the Classical and Jazz world.

It celebrates all things Doreen Carwithen, who was born in Haddenham in 1922, and was the world's first full time female film composer.

We will let you know when the transmission date on ITV Meridian is, as the cameraman also filmed extensive exterior and interior shots of the church.

Our thanks to Carol Mason for observing the whole interview process in order to capture some lovely photographs.
