Haddenham and Thame EV Hire Club Update
Usage is steadily increasing on the cars, and we keep receiving great feedback from Haddenham and Thame residents. The key reason for this scheme is to reduce emissions and help create cleaner air. Zero Carbon Haddenham have been calculating the mileage of both cars to see the positive effects of car sharing and using electric:
Carbon Saving (March 2023)
Usage so far of the Thame and Haddenham EV club cars combined has saved 1.5 tonnes of CO2 to date, which is the amount absorbed by 68 mature trees over a year.
And if we carry on at this usage rate, the two cars are on track to save 4.2 tonnes of CO2 in a year, the equivalent of 191 trees.

Thame – new Location
For those of you who have used both the Haddenham and Thame cars, the Thame car is moving to a great new location that is even more convenient for the people of Thame and local areas to collect and drop off.
The Oxfordshire Council – Southern Road Car park situated just off the high street in Thame has 12 new electric vehicle charging stations supplied by EZ Charge.
We have been allocated our very own bay in the prime position just as you enter the car park from Dorchester Place.
From 1st April users can continue to book and drive away at their convenience from this new site.
The car park offers good lighting and CCTV facilities and is only a minutes' walk from the centre of Thame.
Haven't joined up yet?
Unlike other car clubs we don't charge a joining fee, nor a monthly subscription, and most others also charge mileage on top of your fees.
We only charge for the time you are wanting to use the vehicle. When you collect the car, you drive away with a fully charged battery (which can cover approx. 170 miles subject to driving conditions), insurance is included, and you can drive as many miles as you want to!
