Objections to Glebe Development

Most residents of Haddenham will be familiar with the current planning application to build up to 350 homes on glebe land bounded by Aston Road, Stanbridge Road and Willis Road.

Although the closing date for public comment to the AVDC planning department has now passed, two groups have recently submitted formal objection letters

The first was from Haddenham Parish Council, with a well-argued letter written by David Truesdale, Chairman of the HPC Planning sub-committee.

This is available for viewing from this page – simply click on the document 'HPC Objections' located below the image.

The second letter of objection was prepared by Paul Atton, on behalf of a group of residents who have formed the Haddenham Action Group to help protect our village from unsuitable development.

This second letter is particularly wide ranging, and provides strong arguments to help dissuade the planning officers from approving the glebe development.

Despite the unfortunate abbreviation, the Haddenham Action Group letter can be viewed by clicking on the document 'HAG Objections'
