As part of their Healthy Heart badge, some of the 4th Haddenham Brownies are organising teas at Manor Farm on the afternoon of Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May.
Lizzie and David Banister are kindly opening their beautiful gardens at Manor Farm from 3pm to 5pm and teas will be served by the Brownies throughout this time.
Lizzie and David's daughters were members of 4th Haddenham Brownies in their childhood and Lizzie attended a First Aid course last year with the unit's Brown Owl, Francesca Flaxton, where they learned about the vital importance of having defibrillators nearby and knowing how to use them. It is hoped that this event will both raise awareness and funds towards the recently launched Haddenham Defibrillator Appeal.
Admission to the gardens is free but donations will be invited towards the appeal. If anyone would like to help on the day or make donations of cake(s), please contact Francesca Flaxton on 01844 290900.
