Scotsgrove Brook

Community Currents brings local people together to explore the health of their rivers and brooks, discuss local challenges and identify opportunities to improve water quality, wildlife and freshwater habitats.

A workshop will take place at Haddenham Village Hall on Wednesday 4th November and will focus on Scotsgrove Brook and the surrounding area, including Haddenham, Dinton, Ford, Stone, Bishopstone, Ellesborough, Great and Little Kimble, Aston Sandford and nearby villages. The event commences at 5.30pm and will conclude at 7.45pm.

Organisers will share what they know about the local watercourses, hear residents' observations and ideas, and explore what positive changes the community would like to see and how we might work together to achieve them. The workshop will appeal especially to local residents who are curious about the local environment and would like to learn more about the brook and its role in the wider landscape.

No previous knowledge of rivers or experience of conservation is needed; we're keen to hear from anyone who lives locally, enjoys the countryside or wants to help improve the environment.
