The Sixty Plus Club is changing homes
From 18th September the new home for The Sixty Plus Club is going to be the Airfield Pavilion, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, HP17 8FH.
The increase in membership & meetings with a speaker, or a musical entertainment for example have meant that a larger venue is needed. We shall miss being in the centre of the village, but needs must. So from now on, unless otherwise indicated in the programme, meetings will be at the above address.
In case you don't know, the Airfield Pavilion is off the road behind the Coop.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Methodist Church, with a special mention to Jenny Bullimore, for coming to the rescue after the pandemic. We are very grateful to all of you for making us welcome, making our time at the Methodist Church so happy.
The Sixty Plus Club, (formerly the Darby & Joan Club) has had a long association with the Methodist Church – you probably haven't seen the last of us!
Most Recent Meeting
Over 40 members went to The Ferryman at Bablock Hythe for our August Outing. We haven't been there for a while. It is situated right by the Thames, there was a warm welcome from everyone there, and, of course, a very good pub lunch.
