60-Plus Christmas Party

Members of the 60-plus group enjoyed a Christmas celebration in the Airfield Paviion on Wednesday 17th December.

Live entertainment was provided by the 'Trio of Ukes', who perform in the local area on a voluntary basis, raising funds for their currently favoured charities: Prostate Cancer UK, Thames Valley Air Abulance, and Mind.

Their musical repertoir was very varied and including a number of well-known popular hits from the 1960s, which had many of the audience signing along.

Thanks are due to Mary Wellby and all her helpers, some of whom are pictured here, for the wide selection delicious sandwiches, deserts and cakes they provided for the event.
