Haddenham Players presented two performances of "It'll Be Alright On Panto Night" at the village hall on Saturday 29th October.

The entertainment comprised two plays based on the themes of 'Snow White' and 'Jack and the Beanstalk' — each performed as if in the final stages of rehearsals, complete with hilarious mis-pronunciations, amusing prompts and script reading errors.

Classic panto style acting was greeted with all the enthusiastic boos, hisses and "oh no he didn't" responses from the audience! There was even a cream pie in the face for the unsuspecting panto dame!

Solo and company performances of well known songs from the American song book were delivered with considerable talent and confidence.

All this resulted in great entertainment and lots of laughs for a warm and supportive audience.

Net proceeds from the two performances will be donated to the Red Cross Emergency Appeal.
