AVDC recently rejected an application for Change of Use by the current owner of the Green Dragon, who was hoping to convert the building for use as a residential dwelling.
The owner has now appealed that decision. Here's the official blurb if you would like to submit comments.

An appeal has been lodged with the Secretary of State against the Council's decision in respect of the above site.
The start date for this appeal is 18 February 2020.
The appeal will be determined on the basis of Written Representations procedure to be conducted by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. The procedure to be followed is set out in Part 2 of The Town and Country Planning (Appeals) (Written Representations Procedure) (England) Regulations 2009, as amended. This will include the Council's Statement of Case which will be available to view online 5 weeks after the start date.
If you made any comments on the planning application, a copy will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate.
