Check Your Car for Winter

We seem to have moved rapidly into Autumn and the sudden drop in temperatures reminds us that Winter is looming. Thinking ahead to the challenges of getting around in freezing, icy conditions reminds me of a time when my car broke down in the middle of rural Bucks and the breakdown service operator said, without the hint of an apology, that their mobile technician will not be able to get to me for about five hours!

With this in mind, it is great to see that Ivor Miles garage is offering a very attractive deal, designed to encourage local motorists to bring their vehicles in for a Winter Check.

This service will help ensure that local residents’ cars are prepared for the colder months ahead, giving drivers greater confidence and peace of mind when travelling on the roads.

The Winter Check will include:

* Coolant level and anti-freeze concentration
* Battery health
* Condition and pressure of tyres
* Lights and visibility
* Wipers and screen washer system
* Brakes
* Plus general safety issues

The cost is an extremely reasonable £17.99

And for this price customers will also receive a Winter Essentials Kit, comprising:

* De-icer
* Screen Wash
* A demister pad
* And an ice scraper
