Chris Young

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Chris Young, just days after his 80th Birthday.

Chris has been a major contributor to the life of the village, including as a member of the Parish Council from 2004 — 2021 with responsibility for the local environment for much of that time.

He was also a very hands-on committee member and supporter of the beer festivals trust over many years.

Chris was regular contributor to village litter picks and was always keen to create a smart presentation of Haddenham for the regular 'Best Kept Village' competition.

He was also a keen and knowledgeable bird watcher.

We extend our sincere condolences to Val, Natalie, David & Matthew and families.

Electric Vehicle Hire Club — end of an era or new beginning? As the many members will already have heard, Haddenham's EV Hire Club pilot is sadly coming to an end.
