To mark the closure of the churchyard, St Mary's church is holding a Thanksgiving event on Sunday 23rd April from 3.00pm — 4.30pm.
The afternoon will begin at 3.00pm with a guided tour of the churchyard, followed at 3.30pm by a short service of Thanksgiving in the church and an opportunity for Personal Remembrance.
At 4.00pm refreshments will be available and Haddenham Parish Council will have a display with the plans for a new burial ground in the village. There will also be an informal opportunity to ask questions.
Everyone is most welcome to join in all or any part of the afternoon.
