Internationally acclaimed crime writer Clare Mackintosh will return to her roots in Haddenham this November to headline a special fundraising evening hosted by Haddenham and District Rotary.
The event, titled “From Crime Fighter to Crime Writer” will take place on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, at Bradmoor Farm Events Suite, Haddenham (HP17 8JX). Doors and bar open at 7.00pm, with the talk beginning shortly after.
Mackintosh, a former police officer turned bestselling author, has achieved global recognition with eight Sunday Times bestsellers.
She will share insights from her extraordinary career journey—from
policing the streets to penning award-winning thrillers loved by
millions of readers worldwide.
Tickets, priced at £12.50, are available via www.haddenhamrotary.org.uk. Books will also be available for purchase on the night, courtesy of The Book House.
Supporting Local Causes:
The fundraiser will help Haddenham and District Rotary continue its vital work in the community, supporting initiatives such as the Rotary Youth Leadership Award and Rotary Easter Eggs for Vulnerable Children, as well as raising funds for Thames Valley Air Ambulance and other local charities.
Rotary organisers also expressed thanks to Bradmoor Farm, Haddenham, for generously supporting the event and providing the venue.
