On 4th October, Steven Bennett, aged 46 , from Sheerness, Kent, was sentenced to 40 months imprisonment for burglary offences.
Bennett was responsible for two burglaries in Kent and one in Cuddington.
Overnight on 12th to 13th July, Bennett broke into a property on Upper Church Street, Cuddington, and was arrested a few days later with property from the burglary still in his vehicle.

As part of the Carwithen Music Festival, there is a fascinating exhibition of the life and times of Doreen Cartwithen (born in Haddenham 100 years ago) in the studio of photographer Paul Wilkinson in High Street.
