Haddenham Youth Football Club's (HYFC) season curtain raiser is set to take place on the weekend of Saturday 31st August/Sunday 1st September 2024. The Festival of Football will see over 100 local teams joining HYFC players for the Club's flagship fundraising event at Haddenham Airfield.
Around 1,000 young players from Thame to Marlow, Aylesbury to Maidenhead will participate in the friendly event, joined by coaches and families. More girls' teams are taking part in the event this year, underlining the commitment HYFC is making to expanding girls' football backed by the Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust.
Redrow South Midlands joins BWK Solicitors as Festival Partners this year.
Visiting teams will park on Haddenham Business Park, thanks to the support of DAF, IPro Solutions Ltd and SkyHawke Technologies UK Ltd. A large team of Festival volunteers will help visitors find their way to parking and onto the pitches. PSP (AV rental and technical production) is supporting the event again, ensuring it runs smoothly with professional level PA and radio communications systems.
HYFC volunteers will be serving refreshments from the Airfield Pavilion, supported by a small number of local vendors. Blooming Fruity will be offering every player fruit to keep them refreshed as well as operating their own a stall. The JR Sports Group is bringing extra fun for players between matches.
