Haddenham Festive Trail 2021 – 11th-31st December
Let's Light up Haddenham!

After the success of last December's Festive Trail organised during lockdown, the organisers are delighted to offer another opportunity to light up Haddenham!

We are inviting village residents (individuals/families/whole streets), community organisations, local businesses, schools, nurseries and pre-schools to create an outdoor festive display to bring some much needed joy to us all.

A map will be created and made widely available so that folk can take a walk around the village to follow the Trail.

The Haddenham Festive Trail is a "Churches Together in Haddenham" community collaboration, supported by Haddenham Scarecrow Festival and The Christmas Tree Festival.

Any funds raised this year will be divided equally between the village schools; namely Haddenham Community Junior School, Haddenham St Marys CE School, Haddenham Community First School and Christian Aid.

Displays can include electric or solar powered lights, wreaths, stars, trees, nativity scenes, seasonal tableau ... the only limit is your imagination! Displays will be on view between 11th and 31st December and illuminated daily between 4-8pm.

To enter, please download an Entry Form and an Information Sheet from this page (see PDFs) or request a form by email from us at haddenhamfestivetrail@gmail.com. Paper forms will also be available from 7 Dovecote and Blooming Fruity.

Entries must be received by the deadline of midnight Wednesday 1st December to be included on the official Trail Map. If residents miss this deadline, they are welcome to go ahead with their display anyway, but we regret we are unable to include late entries on the Trail Map.

Optional donations to enter are invited, however we know the past 18 months has been a difficult time for many of us. We invite everyone to take part, whether or not they are in a position to make a donation. Details about how to donate are on the Entry Forms and the Information Sheet and will also be printed on the Trail Maps.

There will be an opportunity for everyone to vote for their 3 favourite displays with a small prize for the three most popular entries. We will publicise further details about the Festive Trail "Switch On", plus where to obtain maps and how to vote at a later date.

We are very much looking forward to receiving masses of entries and being able to spread light, joy and peace across our village
