The group of local residents who are leading efforts to acquire the Green Dragon under the umbrella of the Green Phoenix Community Interest Company (CIC) have now released details of their newly established bank account. Donations are being sought for the costs of legal work and for a full structural survey. As previously highlighted on this website, the investment threshold for shares in the CIC has been re-set at £1,000 (rather than £5,000 as previously mooted). Here's their most recent update:
Our Bank Account Details..... Finally!
Exciting news, we have our bank account open! Full details are given in the section below.
Through the generosity and goodwill of Haddenham residents (and even before we had the online bank account) we have raised £2,400 of our £5,000 target. This is to be used towards our crucial up-front legal and surveying costs.
If you have contributed then thank you so much. If you have not been able to, but feel you can contribute (as a guide) between £50-£100 please do so online and we can push on with these important parts of the project.
Your ongoing support is needed, so once again a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed and/or offered their time and assistance. We will be issuing a more thorough update in the coming days, however we quickly want to mention that the last two detailed Newsletters are available via our website under the Downloads section.
