Here's the latest communication from the Green Phoenix Team, the group seeking to purchase the Green Dragon on behalf of the Haddenham community.
A great deal of work on both the legal and financial side of things is happening behind the scenes. This is clearly vital to move the community project forward. We hope to have some information and documentation to share with you in the next week or so.
As you have hopefully seen we are now live on social media. Please see Green Phoenix on Facebook and Instagram (links below), then follow us for latest news and views. We are keen to hear from you all, so please don't hold back from starting a conversation!
The Green Phoenix team are planning a further public meeting to take place in the village. This could be another evening meeting or a Friday lunchtime event, or perhaps both? Please do let us know by email or through our social media channels if you have any strong opinion on the time or even the content you would like to see in these important events.
We're also going to have a short slot on the Village Society meeting in the library on Wednesday evening, 13th February, when DAF Trucks and McCormicks will be talking about their activities in the village. The meeting starts at 8.00pm.
We have a small team of volunteers who are helping with publicity and getting the word out there, they would very much welcome additional support. Please get in touch if you can offer any time to the team.
As we have been highlighting over the past few weeks, if you feel you can contribute to our upfront (non-recoverable) legal costs we would be very grateful, our bank details are below.
Many thanks for your support, we look forward to sharing more news soon. Remember you can contact us at any time with any questions via email email@example.com
