Those who love quiz nights, especially when there's the added element of fund-raising for charity, will wish to note that the Big Friends Quiz takes place on Friday 10th October, in Haddenham Village Hall.
Doors Open 7.15pm and the quiz starts at 7.45pm. Who will be the winner of the fourth Annual Big Friends Fundraising Quiz? Tickets are £12 (£11 for signed up Friends of St Mary's). This includes the popular Banger and Mash supper. NB: Please bring your own drinks and glasses this year.

Prizes and a trophy for winners. This is a fundraising event for FOSM (Friends of St Mary's Haddenham), raising funds for the restoration of the fabric of the church building and churchyard, a village heritage.

As part of the Carwithen Music Festival, there is a fascinating exhibition of the life and times of Doreen Cartwithen (born in Haddenham 100 years ago) in the studio of photographer Paul Wilkinson in High Street.
