You might be surprised how much your community run library on Banks Road is doing for the local residents struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
For instance, we offer a warm welcoming place with comfortable chairs for anyone to come and use, to meet people, browse books , read a local newspaper with NO obligation to spend money or buy anything.
We have FREE regular activities for preschool children and their parents and on Saturday's children can enjoy playing with our enormous Lego collection or get crafting for FREE
We have 3 public access computers that library members can use for FREE and our photocopying and printing service is very reasonable . It is FREE to use for Job Seekers and people with immigration business.
We have FREE wi-fi ,in the library so students and people working from home can break up their day and come and work in a warm comfortable place with cheap refreshments on sale. We will also be investing in a wi-fi printer soon so people without a computer, tablet or laptop will be able to print off directly from their mobile phone for the same price as photocopying.
We are a Council Access Point and have a FREE direct line to the Buckinghamshire Council' s Customer Advice Centre and we can help you find a wide range of information and services through our public access computers .
Our stock of books on our shelves is FREE to borrow and we do our best to keep it up to date and plentiful, especially for children. Each borrower can take out up to twenty books at a time at NO cost. Remember , there is also the electronic library — this is also FREE so no need to pay to download a book, magazine, newspaper or audio book if you are a library member.
So please come and use your library, we are staffed by local volunteers who will give you a warm welcome and look forward to seeing you soon.
You can also find out about who we are and what we offer with links to other services on our website www.haddenhamcommunitylibrary.org.uk.
