Haddenham Horticultural Society will be hosting its Annual Open Show on Saturday 7th September in Haddenham Village Hall. Public Viewing 2.00 — 4.00pm, followed by presentation of trophies and raffle draw.
Admission: 50p senior citizens and children; £1 others.
The Show offers a wide range of classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, cacti and succulents, floral art, domestic (preserves, baking and bread), beer and wine, art, crafts and photography, plus children's classes. There is also a raffle, tombola, plant sale and refreshments, as well as displays by other village organisations.
Non-members are very welcome to compete — there are classes to suit everyone, including a range of special classes for children of different age groups.
Entries close at 8pm on Wednesday 4th September (entry fees per class: 10p members, 20p non-members, all children's classes free).
Staging of exhibits is from 7.00pm — 9.00pm on Friday 6th September and 8.00am — 9.50am on Saturday 7th September.
