The Haddenham Horticultural Society’s Spring Show and Plant Sale will be held on Saturday 25th April 2026 in Haddenham Village Hall. Admission is free of charge, but for those who would like to take part there is a “£ in the bucket” competition at the entrance, where the winner takes half of whatever has been donated.
In addition to the wide range of plants for sale, there are other stalls selling cakes, savoury items and preserves; books and jigsaws; as well as a “white elephant” and horticultural miscellany stall. Why not come along and pick up a few bargains! Strictly cash only please.

There is also a raffle (again please contact Gay if you would like to donate a prize), and tea and coffee, etc. are available at very reasonable prices. The plant sale and stalls open from 9.00 a.m. and viewing of the Show exhibits is from 10.00 – 11.20 a.m., followed by the draw for the raffle and the £1 in the bucket competition.
On the Show side there are classes for a range of spring flowers and shrubs, etc. as well as for alpines, cacti, and flower and foliage pot plants. In addition, there are three classes for flower arrangements, including an interpretive class with the title “Spring is Here”. The Show is intended to be a bit of fun and a lot less formal than our Autumn event. Entries for the Show itself close on 23rd April – details from Gay Jordan as above.
