Haddenham Cricket Club demonstrated how far it has come since starting its junior section only five years ago when it was awarded Clubmark status in 2014 — a benchmark for high quality community club cricket, given particularly to clubs that are prioritising junior development.
Haddenham CC has a thriving junior section, starting from U7 and with teams from U9 up playing in both the Aylesbury Midweek League and the Bucks League. The team of enthusiastic coaches come from the playing members of the club and several went through training for the ECB Level 2 coaching qualification in the off season.
The club continues to move forward and invest in the future. Two new fixed lane nets are near completion and will be ready in time for this season, and mobile pitch covers are being ordered.
Haddenham CC welcomes boys and girls of all abilities and experience. Junior training happens on Wednesday evenings.
