Our congratulations to local resident and Heritage Stock Car racer Nick Whitney, who has had a very successful 2016 season.
Racing a replica of his father Michael Whitney's 1960's car all over the UK, including Scotland and Ireland, he ended the year as Irish Open Champion, National Points Champion and Gold Top Holder — his best season since starting in 2005.
A local talent that perhaps few of us knew about until now.
Well done Nick!
