The Haddenham Mummers held their annual presentation evening on 11th February in the excellent Rising Sun to distribute the £1600 they collected during the Christmas performances.
The main recipients were:
- Helen and Douglas House,
- MPS Society
- Haddenham Community Library
all of which received £350.
Donations of £250 were also made to Haddenham Baptist Church 'Hat and Boots', to help with the restoration of their important building, and £200 to the project to install a solar pump to maintain the level of water in the church pond.
Smaller donations to Haddenham.net and Red Kite Radio will be sent in due course.
A packed pub was also able to show their appreciation for the significant contribution Tony Stephens, Jim Robinson and "The Mayor of Haddenham", Michael Whitney, were inducted into the Haddenham Mummers Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame is open to the general public in The Rising Sun — it's worth taking a look.
The Haddenham Mummers are proud to be associated with all the charities they support and realise this support wouldn't be possible without the generosity of everyone who made a donation, the hospitality of Liam and Sylvie and the Rising Sun and Jen and her team in the Kings Head and the contribution of David Finch from the Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust.

Electric Vehicle Hire Club — end of an era or new beginning? As the many members will already have heard, Haddenham's EV Hire Club pilot is sadly coming to an end.
