A brand new Carrie is soon to be introduced!
After ten years of loyal service to hundreds of clients, Carrie the Community Vehicle is being replaced by a new specially adapted Ford Torneo Connect – like the one illustrated here. The same team of volunteers remains and the same personal door-to-door service will continue, perhaps with a little more style and somewhat fewer rattles.
The committee is grateful for the generous funding received from The National Lottery Community Fund, Haddenham Beers Festivals Trust, Kop Hill Charity and other genereous benefactors.
The door-to-door service for those with mobility issues is bookable in advance by calling the driver coordinator on 07483 806171 or emailing haddenhamcv@gmail.com. The service is free to residents in our area but, as a charity, donations are much appreciated. New volunteer drivers are always welcome.
A launch event is taking place at the Haddenham Airfield Pavilion on Saturday 15th March, at 3.00pm. So pop down and help the team celebrate Haddenham's beautiful new 'Carrie'.
