Townsend Community Orchard committee would like to invite residents to a free event to celebrate our 10th anniversary on Sunday 14th September 2025. We would be delighted to see you there, and be able to thank our volunteers in person for yheir contribution to the development of the project.
The celebration event will be taking place between 2-5pm.
It will be an informal occasion with a community picnic, semi-acoustic musicians and children's craft activities, plus a memory board with photos of the orchard from the past decade. You will just need to bring something to sit on and your own food and drink. Donations in aid of the orchard and Wateraid are welcomed.
