Haddenham Community Junior School has announced that one of the new roads being built in the area nearest to the railway station will be called Pilot's Place.
This name was the brainchild of Ben Rose in 6M class last year, as part of a street naming competition by Persimmon Homes.
Pedants in the village will doubtless be hoping to see the possessive apostrophe included on the street sign — but we suspect they won't be holding their collective breath on that score!
