Redrow has relaunched its annual scheme to support deserving community initiatives in the area.
The company currently building at The Maltings in Haddenham, has launched a £12,000 fund to support local groups, organisations and individuals – and is now welcoming applications.
There’s no cause too small, so whether it’s funding for gardening tools to support a school eco-project, new kit for a grassroots sports team or assistance to a community centre to run classes, the housebuilder’s initiative can help.
The annual scheme, which started in 2019, provides local organisations with specific donations and gives them the tools they need to continue to thrive. So far, Redrow South Midlands has donated a total of £62,000 to worthy causes – and is now looking for new recipients to receive a share of this year’s fund.
Lee Abbott, Sales Manager for Redrow South Midlands, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be building on the success of our previous community funds with a new £12,000 pot, helping us to support even more inspiring local projects and organisations.
“At Redrow, we’re passionate about creating thriving communities, not just through the homes we build, but by investing in the people and groups that make our neighbourhoods great places to live. We want to hear about the projects and groups that matter most to local people and understand where our support can have the greatest impact.
“We know that even a small amount of funding can have a lasting impact, whether it’s art supplies for workshops, helping to buy tools for a community garden, or bringing people together through shared experiences.
“We’re excited to hear from people across Buckinghamshire and can’t wait to see the projects this year’s fund will bring to life.”
