We are delighted to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, weighing in at 8lb 6oz (in old money!)
The child is third in line to the throne.
To mark the happy event, the bells of St Mary's Church in Haddenham rang out at 8.45pm, soon after the public announcement on Monday 22nd July.
For those aware of the finer points of ringing, a course of Cambridge Surprise Minor was appropriate to the occasion.
