The village fete organising committee have announced that, after a great deal of consideration, they have decided that "it would be prudent to once again cancel the Village Fete this year and plan for bigger and better next year — by which time we hope the vaccines will have reached everyone and we'll all be in a position to celebrate fully and without restrictions."
"We will look at ways we can still mark the date the Fete should have taken place and share that with you as soon as we can."
"And we very much look forward to celebrating with you all on Saturday 11th June 2022 so please put the date in your diary now!"
