Sainsbury's Withdraws Application

Sainsburys 06

We are given to understand that Sainsbury's has now withdrawn its application to AVDC for a Change of Use of Chiltern House on Thame Road, Haddenham so that the office building could have been turned into a 'Sainsbury's Local' supermarket.

The tenancies of the businesses currently occupying Chiltern House have been extended to the end of December 2016.

We will try to remain abreast of any further developments and bring you further news in the coming months — but for the moment it seems that there will be no supermarket on this site.
