Annual Haddenham Scarecrow Festival – Open for Entries!
Entries for the 2026 Scarecrow Festival will be launched at the Village Maypole on 2nd May. The Haddenham Association of Scouts and Guides has organised this popular event for 11 years in our village, which has raised over £17,500 for many local charities and community groups
This year we are supporting a Buckinghamshire children’s charity called Forever Colours Children’s Hospice. Forever Colours is a community-based children’s hospice, supporting families both at home and within their local communities. The charity currently supports over 150 babies, children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions, as well as their 600 family members across Buckinghamshire. Their services include family support, sibling groups, specialist play, parent support, community activities, and end-of-life and bereavement care.

We are suggesting an optional theme of "Colours of the Rainbow”, which can be interpreted in any way you like. Otherwise anything goes!

In order to be included on the official Scarecrow Trail Map, all entries MUST be received no later than 31st May.
