This Saturday 1st July, Haddenham hosts Summerfest! Summerfest is a community event, whilst also raising funds for the community. It is four festivals in one day — with all day music, drinks festival, family fun and delicious food.
Summerfest is special because it is organised by local volunteers, to raise funds for amazing community causes. You'll see lots of familiar faces on the day as local residents volunteer (in return for a free ticket) and we are very lucky to have local businesses sponsor us to support the local community.
Summerfest has raised in excess of £360,000 so far, raising £40,000 in 2022 alone. That money has gone to support some amazing local causes, from Neonatal X-ray machines at Stoke Mandeville, to Snakemore Bird Boxes. Children's play equipment at Haddenham St Mary's, to Bell Ropes for the churches. All the grants go towards making our village such a wonderful place to live.
What do we need from you? So we can continue to support our local causes, all we need from you is to buy a ticket to Summerfest, turn up and have fun!
Adult tickets cost £16 and give you access to all day live music, a drinks festival with a wide selection to suit all tastes, and access to the food village.
Children's tickets are £7.50 and this includes circus workshops, magic shows, live music, balloon modelling, craft, football skills, festival hair and so much more. There's a couple of extra activities for an extra cost such as inflatables, facepainting and go-carts.
It's set to be a great day so support your local community.
