The Timeless Memory Café, launching at Haddenham Park Care Homem this Thursday, 29th January.
This friendly, welcoming gathering is free of charge and open to members of the local community who are supporting someone living with dementia. It’s a place where memories matter and friendships form, offering a warm and supportive environment for people to come together, share experiences, enjoy meaningful activities and feel understood.
The café sessions will take place on the last Thursday of every month, 11.00am – 12.30pm, and are designed to provide a supportive space for carers to chat, access information and listen to guest speakers, while the people they care for take part in stimulating and enjoyable activities.
At the first session on Thursday 29th January, we’re delighted to welcome Roger Riddler, who will be talking about his own experience supporting his wife – from recognising early signs, to navigating information and services, and celebrating the person behind the diagnosis.
