Some residents may have seen a recent communication from AVDC indicating that Waste Bin Collection Days were going to be changed in the near future.
If you did see this notification, you can now safely ignore it!
We are informed that AVDC's plans to change their bin collection days will now be delayed until late Spring.
Quote "A revised 'go live' date will be advised as soon as possible."
All households will be notified by AVDC directly by letter after the Easter break, before the changes take place, informing residents of their new collection day and what bins to put out.
Apparently this will not directly affect properties with communal bins, e.g. those living in flats.
According to AVDC "the delay, which has been introduced after notification of an essential software upgrade from Bartec, the vehicle in-cab software provider".
