Skye's High Ambitions
Skye Tantilov is the daughter of Haddenham Rose and Thistle publicans Candace and Spas, and a Year 3 pupil at Haddenham Community Junior School. Skye is a naturally very sporty and athletic young lady who has expressed her physical inclinations in various ways, including ballet and trampolining.
But her real passion is gymnastics.
Skye has progressed very rapidly through her 'badges' at the Lynx Gym in Aylesbury and, at the invitation of the lead coach there, has recently joined the gym's squad. She now trains four days a week for three-and-a-half hours and is looking to increase this in the near future, so that she can continue to progress rapidly.
Skye has shone in her club competitions and in July this year she merited four Gold and one Silver medals in county level competition. Not surprisingly, she aspires to go to the Olympics and be an Olympic champion one day!
Her role models are Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas, the highly successful gymnasts from the USA. And recently Skye was extremely excited to meet a Team GB gold medallist, Max Whitlock.
If any local business or individual would like to consider sponsoring this talented young lady and help her achieve her goals, this website would be pleased to help facilitate initial contacts. Email: haddenham.net@hotmail.com
